FORMAT DECISION ON HOLD

Dallas HR Management Association takes the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the health of HRSouthwest Conference participants very seriously. The safety of attendees, exhibitors, speakers, sponsors, volunteers and staff is our top priority.

With recent spikes in COVID-19 cases and stalls in the Open Texas initiative, DallasHR and our Board of Directors has decided to pause on sharing announcements on how The HRSouthwest Conference will be presented for 2020, until additional information becomes available. 

Though July 1 was our target date to announce the format of the event, it is important to see a reduction in COVID-19 cases before we make a formal announcement. Our decision will be data driven, with the health and wellness of our community of chief importance.

As such, we will continue to offer “risk free” registration options which waive cancellation fees until final plans for the 2020 event are announced. Thank you for your patience and please send any questions you may have to info@hrsouthwest.com.

Dallas HR Management Association takes the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the health of HRSouthwest Conference participants very seriously. The safety of attendees, exhibitors, speakers, sponsors, volunteers and staff is our top priority.

It is important at this time to follow all public health authority guidelines related to COVID-19 and we are closely monitoring the decisions and announcements made by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We will continue to monitor the COVID “Stay Home – Stay Well” order as we make decisions regarding the Conference.

DallasHR remains committed to hosting The HRSouthwest Conference in October. We are currently working on ways to bring you the stellar education and networking our Conference is known for in a safe environment.

All registered attendees will be officially notified of our plans by Wednesday, July 1, 2020, At that time, we will give you a status report and let you know if we will press on with a face-to-face event or convert to other digital options to bring you a fantastic virtual experience.

We hope that you will “stay with us” as we work through this unusual time and continue to participate in October. But, if you must make the difficult decision to cancel your registration before our July announcement, you may do so at any time and will receive a full refund. Please send your cancellation in writing to attendees@hrsouthwest.com. Should you decide at a later date you would like to attend this year, merely start a new registration. Prevailing registration rates will apply.

Or, wait until the official announcement on July 1 and decide then what your next steps will be. If we meet face-to-face with social distancing as our top priority, or meet virtually, you are all set to participate in a great event.

If a virtual experience isn’t your thing, we can apply your registration to the 2021 Conference in Ft. Worth, October 10 – 13 and you’ll be locked in at 2020 rates. Or, cancel your registration in writing and send an email to attendees@hrsouthwest.com by July 15, for a full refund.

Our nation is resilient and it is our hope we can “flatten the COVID-19 curve” and be well on our way to recovery from this uncertain situation.
